New in Sweet Seer: Home-Screen Widget, Saju Readings and Daily Rituals from Japan & Taiwan

The newest Sweet Seer update is our biggest yet — a little tour of what's waiting after you update.

A widget that knows when your reading is ready

Add the new home-screen widget and your daily horoscope greets you every time you unlock your phone — good morning greetings before noon, your sign's teaser through the day, a soft good-night after dark.

The clever part: the moment a reading you ordered finishes brewing, the widget flips to "Your reading is ready 🔮" — even if the app is closed. Read it, and the widget slips back to your horoscope. (To add it: long-press your home screen → Widgets → Sweet Seer. On Android, the app can even place it for you — look for "Add the widget now" in Settings.)

Saju and gunghap — Korea's Four Pillars

Two brand-new reading types join the seer's table:

• Saju computes your genuine Four Pillars chart from your birth date and time — day master, element balance, ten-year luck cycles — and reads this season of your life through it.
• Gunghap lays your chart and your partner's side by side: day master chemistry, element complementarity, and the two different decades you're each moving through.

Both show the actual chart — pillars in hanja, element bars, your current decade highlighted — so you can see exactly what the reading stands on.

Two new daily rituals

• Omikuji (おみくじ) — draw a Japanese paper fortune from the shrine box, from 大吉 (great blessing) to the rare 凶 (with its traditional silver lining: tie it, leave it behind, and the luck turns).
• Guanyin sticks (觀音靈籤) — shake the bamboo cup and let one of a hundred numbered lots rise, in the Taiwanese temple tradition.

One free draw each per day — alongside the fortune cookie and the magic orb you already know.

And a few small kindnesses

Reading results now share as a beautiful card with one tap. Follow-up questions on a tarot reading can turn straight into a fresh card draw. And the token store got faster and steadier on Android.
